Matcha Latte 🍵✨

A warm, creamy, and comforting drink that gives you energy, focus, and a dose of antioxidants—all while tasting delicious! This is my go-to recipe when I want a cozy matcha moment.

🥤 Servings: 1

Ingredients:

✔️ ½ teaspoon (1 g) matcha powder (adjust to taste)
✔️ ⅓ cup (80 ml) oat milk or regular milk
✔️ ⅔ cup (160 ml) hot water (not boiling, about 80°C / 175°F)
✔️ 1 teaspoon (7 g) honey (optional, for a little sweetness)

Instructions:

1️⃣ Heat the milk – Pour your preferred milk into a mug, filling it about ⅓ of the way. Froth it with a milk foamer until light and creamy.
2️⃣ Prepare the matcha – In a separate small bowl or cup, add ½ teaspoon matcha powder. Pour in a small amount of hot water and whisk using a bamboo whisk (chasen) or electric frother until smooth and foamy.
3️⃣ Combine everything – Pour the hot matcha mixture into your mug with frothed milk. Fill the rest of the mug with hot water.
4️⃣ Sweeten to taste – Stir in honey (or your favorite sweetener) if you like it a little sweet.
5️⃣ Enjoy! – Give it a good mix, take a sip, and enjoy the matcha goodness. 🍵💛
