Let’s talk about Self-Care!

Meditation

Exercise

Sleep

Nutrition

Solitude

Journaling

I believe the most important beauty someone can have is the beauty from within. Your inner beauty reflects on the outside. That’s why you always want to make sure that you take care of yourself. It will make you feel good and if you feel good about yourself it’ll naturally make you more beautiful. You‘ll be more attractive because you love yourself. Self-care means self-love.

Self-care can be practiced in so many different ways. It can simply mean to take yourself on a walk to get some fresh air and clear your thoughts. Getting enough sleep and eating healthy foods will improve your overall well-being too. Besides that you should include some kind of exercise in your daily schedule. Self-care also means to me to constantly work on myself and grow as a person.

Here are some ways I practice self-care:

  • Exercise (yoga is a must for me)

  • Enough sleep

  • Healthy eating habits

  • Meditation

  • Skincare Routine

  • Spending time alone

  • Going in nature

  • Journaling

  • Taking a relaxing bath

Why Yoga?

Yoga calms the mind and increases body awareness. The different poses have lifelong health benefits.

  • reduces stress

  • boosts energy

  • improves sleep

  • boosts mood

I love yoga! I’m so grateful; it has helped my mental and physical health enormously.

Yoga has helped me strengthen my intuition and self-acceptance, and has helped me become the strong woman I am today.

I started believing in myself, and everything changed.

I learned to let go of judgment. I gained a lot of self-respect, which led to having stronger boundaries.

Yoga helps me to stay connected to my inner self.

The most important thing yoga taught me:

  • Always be grateful

  • Open your Heart

  • Yes, I can achieve anything!

  • It’s okay where I’m at today

  • Small progress is still progress

  • Believe!

We’re all on our own journey. Once you understand that, you can then focus on yourself and find your purpose here.

My Skincare Routine

I personally value a good skincare routine. This is what do:

I get a professional facial every 4-6 weeks and I make at home face masks with natural ingredients once a week. Besides that I make sure to have a clean diet with lots of nutritional foods and I drink plenty of water.

What products I use on a daily basis:

  • Cleanser (morning & night)

  • Toner (Rosewater in the morning/different Toner at night)

  • Tea Tree Oil (morning & night) - is a must and my skin loves it!

  • Serum (at night) - I mainly use Vitamin C and some other restoring serums

  • Morning & Night Cream

  • Sunscreen 50 spf (morning)

  • Eye cream (at night)

I personally prefer products from La Roche Posay, CeraVe and Cetaphil.

I tend to have dry skin, so I use hydrating face sheet masks or if my skin is ever oily and I’m breaking out I use an Indian healing clay mask.

For the natural face masks made at home I value those ingredients:

  • HONEY (anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, exfoliates, brightens skin complexion, clears acne, hydrates, soothes..)

  • TURMERIC (repairing, brightening, natural glow, antioxidant support, prevents acne, anti-aging) - be careful of discoloration!

  • YOGURT (moisturizes, brightens, reduces inflammation, helps with skin infections, tones skin, eases acne)

  • OATMEAL (exfoliates, gets rid of dirt/oil/dead skin cells, moisturizes, reduces inflammation, relieves itchy skin, improves skin complexion, stimulates collagen production)

Important: Only use makeup if needed and keep it to a minimum & Always apply sunscreen in the morning

I recommend to get a professional skin evaluation, so you understand what type of skin you have and what products & facials will benefit you.
