Chicken Balls with Vegetables 🍗🥦🍅
A flavorful, protein-packed dish that’s easy to make and perfectly balanced with sautéed vegetables. The chicken balls are juicy and seasoned just right, and you can mix and match your favorite veggies!

Chicken Balls Ingredients:
16 oz (450 g) ground chicken (or turkey or beef)
1 egg
¼ onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp (45 ml) olive oil
¾ tsp salt (or to taste)
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp paprika (optional)
Flour, as needed to help form the balls
Instructions – Chicken Balls:
In a large bowl, mix ground meat, egg, onion, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.
Gradually add flour until the mixture holds together and is easy to roll.
Form into small balls (about 1 inch / 2.5 cm in diameter).
Heat a pan with a bit of olive oil over medium heat. Cook the chicken balls for 6–8 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden and fully cooked.
Add tomato sauce and a spoonful of sour cream to the pan. Stir to coat the chicken balls and let simmer for 2–3 minutes.
Optional: Sprinkle with grated cheese and let melt if you’d like a more indulgent version.
Sautéed Vegetables:
¼ onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 zucchini, chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
½ eggplant, chopped (optional)
1 bell pepper, sliced (optional)
2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil or avocado oil
Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions – Vegetables:
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add onion and garlic, sauté for 2 minutes until fragrant.
Add zucchini, tomatoes, and any other vegetables you’re using. Season with salt and pepper.
Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender.
Tip: Feel free to use your favorite vegetables like mushrooms, carrots, spinach, or whatever’s in season!
Serving Suggestions:
Serve with steamed rice (brown rice is a great fiber-rich option)
Pair with quinoa or whole-grain pasta
